Dashboard & Chat

The Dashboard is your primary interface for asking questions about your data. Instead of pre-built charts, everything is generated from natural language questions.

How it works

  1. Ask a question — Type in the chat input at the bottom of the page
  2. Get structured answers — The AI agent queries your metrics, checks data reliability, and responds with narrative insights plus visualizations
  3. Visual companion — Charts, metric cards, and tables appear in the right pane alongside the narrative

Smart cards

When you first open the Dashboard, you'll see smart cards showing key metrics at a glance. Click any card to ask a deeper question about that topic.

Split-pane layout

  • Left pane (60%) — Narrative insights and chat history
  • Right pane (40%) — Metric cards, charts, and tables
  • Resizable — Drag the divider to adjust proportions

The agent automatically selects the right visualization:

Data reliability warnings

If a metric has known data quality issues, the agent will tell you before showing results — including which table is stale, what the SLA is, and whether the numbers can be trusted.
